Hatching Egg Policies

Please read the following carefully before placing your order. By completing your purchase, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to all terms listed here as well as our Shipping Policy/Agreement.

Order Availability & Shipping Timeline

We accept pre-orders to reserve your spot in line on a first come, first served basis. Once your order is ready to ship, we will contact you directly. We do our best to keep listings updated with current availability as accurately as possible.

We are unable to provide exact shipping dates and can only offer general shipping windows based on season, weather, and flock production.

  • Spring: March – June
  • Summer: June – August
  • Fall: August – November

Please keep in mind that we are not a large hatchery, but a small family homestead. All hatching eggs come from our hand-selected breeding birds, with quality and flock health as our top priority.

Refund & Shipping Policy

Due to the nature of hatching eggs, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or offer refunds once your order has been shipped. While we do allow cancellations within 24-hours of purchase as a courtesy, please understand: 

  • Credit Card processing fees are non-refundable, as the transaction was completed at the time of purchase, and the credit card company keeps those fees. Refunds will incur a 3.5% restocking fee to cover the fees incurred through the credit card companies.
  • If a future order is desired, we can issue a promo or gift card instead of a refund.

If we are unable to fulfill your order for any reason on our end, you will receive a refund. For any concerns, feel free to contact us via email or Facebook @ Trinity Oaks Ranch.

We guarantee that all eggs are fresh and fertile at the time of shipping. We do not replace or refund broken eggs, please file a claim with USPS. Please remember that just because an egg did not develop during incubation, DOES NOT MEAN it was not fertile. So many factors can play a role in hatch rate and development. 

Fertility is regularly monitored from each breeding flock to ensure roosters are actively doing their job. That said, once eggs are handed off to USPS, we are no longer responsible for their handling, delays, or damage. Standard shipping is via USPS Priority Mail (1–3 days) and includes $100 of insurance (shipping fees are not covered under this insurance).
If your package arrives damaged, please:

  • Take clear photos of the box, packaging, and any broken eggs
  • Inspect your package immediately upon pickup
  • File a damage claim with USPS online (damage only, not shipping delays)
  • Send us pictures and video evidence within 24 hours of arrival

Please remember: Hatching eggs are always a gamble. We cannot guarantee hatch rates or how USPS handles the eggs during transit.

If your order exceeds $100, USPS only covers that amount under standard insurance. You may email us to request additional coverage at an extra cost. All tracking information will be emailed once your order ships. Please inspect your box upon pickup and file claims with USPS directly for any issues.

Customer Agreement

Our birds are raised using natural, holistic, and regenerative farming methods. We do not vaccinate our flock and focus on strong genetics, healthy environments, and responsible flock management.
