We always do our best to send our darkest eggs, but please note that Marans egg pigmentation naturally varies throughout the laying season. A hen that lays a level 7-8 egg one day may lay a level 5 egg the next. Our breeding line is selected specifically for strong dark egg genetics, giving your future flock excellent potential for rich chocolate-colored eggs.
